The teenage years are when boys and girls explore their bodies and are generally curious about the shape and size of their genital organs. Penis size has been an exciting topic of discussion for 15 years old. Here are five truths about the average penis size for a 15-year-old.

  1. Your penis can continue to grow for 4 years

Not all boys experience puberty at the exact same age—there are those whom you can call a late bloomer or even an early bloomer. Some boys can start having the very first stage of their puberty at the age of 15, although some late bloomers can have it at a later age and some early bloomers can even start their puberty at the age of 11. Yet, for the most part, irrespective of the exact age you begin your puberty, most boys will experience a penis growth phase that lasts for some 4 years or so.

For the average boys that start having their puberty at the age of 15, the penis can continue to experience different accelerations of growth until the age of 19. Some late bloomers can still even experience height growth as well as penis growth until the age of 21.

  1. Sexual function involves so much more than just penis size

With what our societies are subliminally implying about a man’s manhood in terms of penis size, a lot of boys may experience a great deal of anxiety regarding their penis growth rate. Most boys will probably be afraid of their penis never reaching ‘porn star size’—but that is all just silly thinking.

Your penis size does not define yourself as a man—more importantly, as a person. Also, you don’t actually even need a huge schlong to make you a good lover in bed. Unless you are a man with a rare medical condition called a micropenis, any average penis size is enough to please a woman as long as the guy attached to the penis knows how to make amazing love. It’s the skills that count.

Plus, rather than worrying about size, what you should pay more attention to is the health of your reproductive system.

  1. The start of puberty differs from boy to boy

In this world, we will always have averages. Some people will think that averages are the standards of things. So, when they see something out of the standard, they will typically think that something has gone wrong. A lot of parents will usually simply stick to the knowledge of what is ‘standard’ in terms of their son’s puberty. But here’s the thing: although we do have standards and averages, in reality, not all boys will start their puberty at around the same age.

Some boys can have early puberty, which will typically make them grow at a more rapid rate than their peers. Some boys will start late, which may make them seem like they're not growing in comparison to their peers (which they will later prove wrong just because their growth window is different). At any rate, as long as the boy is healthy, just enjoy his unique puberty phase.

  1. The average penis size is not as big as you may have feared

Again, addressing the issue/concern/anxiety pertaining to penis size, it’s unfortunate that a lot of men get caught up in the idea that the average Joe has a big schlong. Porn actors do have big dicks, okay, fine, so you want that and may even think that it’s what’s ‘normal’. But think again, people in that industry are chosen because they are unusually well-endowed, and that’s not something everybody does have.

In reality, though, the average penis size measures some 3.3 inches when flaccid and 5.5 when erect. So, you’re not a 6 like what most people would brag about? No worries, you’re absolutely normal. And the most important thing aside from your reproductive health is that the average penis size is enough to make a woman scream for pleasure. At the end of the day, the key is in how you make love and if you’re good to her!

  1. Penis growth does depend on your nutrition

Now you know that the penis grows the most rapidly during the puberty stage (especially stage 3 of the total 5 stages). However, although the penis does naturally experience a rapid rate of growth during this 4-year period, your nutrition is what decides the maximum growth of both the penis and the reproductive system itself.

That is why it is important to eat good foods throughout your puberty. Of course, it would always be good to eat healthy foods at any time in life, but since puberty is a very important phase of a person’s life, it would be best not to indulge yourself in stuff like junk foods.

You can cut some slack when you’re older (from time to time), but whilst still growing, you need to take good amounts of good nutrients to nourish yourself. This is so you become a strong adult with a healthy reproductive system.
